Puppet is made of carved wood and polychrome, are moved by rods of wood attached to the articulated arms and with a central bar of wood in the interior and at its end joins the head that rotates. The heads have a headdress colorful with decorations in various colors. Present a skirt of cloth made by the technique batik on the base of waxes and liquid dyes brown, black, and white. The word wayang is a generic term to refer to the traditional theatre of Indonesia, and wayang golek is used to designate the marionette three-dimensional made of wood.
