In this illustration depicting a scene set in the SEVENTEENTH century, starring two musketeers in the interior of a tavern. In the first term, after a stool located outside of the frame, next to which rests a hat, we see one of the two men, back to back, looking at his companion. It contemplates him in a relaxed posture, sitting drinking at a table, with two swords in a cup behind his back. This work is framed within the so-called “painting of casacones”, which he had in the Catalan Mariano Fortuny (1838-1874) to one of its best representatives.
