Painter, landscape painter and stage designer, Domingo Soler began his training at the Academy of Fine Arts of his native city, and then continue their studies in Barcelona, at the School of La Lonja. Pensioned by the Provincial government in Paris between 1892 and 1893, he works with the set designer Corpesar. Finally he completed his artistic training in Rome. He exercised pedagogy in the Italian School of Barcelona and, later, in the Arts and Crafts. He was also president of the association of Watercolorists of Catalonia. Participated in various collective shows, and between 1913 and 1922 organized annually individual samples in the Sala Parés of Barcelona. Attended various competitions of art, being awarded the Drawing Prize of the “Barcelona Cómica”, the Award of Old Barcelona, the Medal of the Exhibition of Art and industry Decorative of Mexico and the Gold Medal of Landscapes in catalonia. Is represented in the Museum of Sabadell and in the Watercolour of Llançà.
