Jordi Rollán Lahoz. (Barcelona, 1940), painter.
Its first stage was primarily figurative, with a special focus on the female figure, leading then towards abstraction. Your painting today is focused basically in search of shapes and colors, moving between abstraction and figuration, giving his work a freedom of total expression. In his quest for new forms of expression, has experimented with all kinds of materials, such as collage, mixed techniques, acrylic. He has also done sculpture and graphic work.Artistic career
He studied drawing and painting at the School of Arts and Artistic Crafts "Llotja" of Barcelona, complementing them with their attendance at the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona and the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc.
In 1964, is sponsored by the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, which allows you to visit the most important museums of Europe and learn about the new artistic movements of the time.
Since his first solo exhibition in 1966 in the Room Jaimes Barcelona to date, he has made around 200 exhibitions, participated also in many group exhibitions. From 1994 until 2004 developed an intense stage of exhibitions in Germany and Switzerland, of which it is worth mentioning the samples with the title of "Dali - Rollán Grosse Katalanische Meister" held in several capitals of germany. He has exhibited also in EE.USA, France, Italy, Morocco and Monte carlo.
