Formed in the School of Arts and Trades of Barcelona, Tuser is specialized in issues in the bullfighting arena. His first solo exhibition was held in 1946, in the room Velasco, of Barcelona. He also participated in various collective exhibitions, such as the exhibitions organized by the association of Watercolorists of Catalonia. Tuser is represented in several museums of national scope, as well as in the Archard Collection of the “Club Taurino of London.


In this canvas, Tuser employs his characteristic loose brushwork and vibrant, a touch doughy, and short. Simplifies the composition is limited to what is essential, subtracting decorativeness in favour of expressive power. Situated to the animals at the center, taking up a large part of the composition, running, still disoriented after the darkness of the bullpen. It is also worth highlighting the great study of colour, which divides the space in spots, chromatic, expressive volumes of shades of nuanced and intense.
