SANS CORBELLA, Tomás (Barcelona, 1869 – 1911).

Thomas studied at the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona, and was a disciple of Jose Armet Portanell. Known for their landscapes, participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1888 in barcelona, where he also exhibited. Also addressed the issue of the rural customs with many works, and won a Silver Medal at the International Exhibition of Fine Arts of Barcelona. His style is thorough, full of details with a colorful, very alive and a harmony and atmosphere very own on the topic. Kept his work in numerous private collections and, among others, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona.
