LLAURADÓ RODÓN, Francisco (Reus, Tarragona, 1865 - ?).

Francisco Llauradó was formed in the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi in Barcelona. He specialized in landscape and still life, but it also addressed issues of casacones and scenes of the everyday life of his time. Participated in several collective exhibitions, and his work can be seen in numerous private collections.

To be seen in this navy a rough drawing that doesn't add excessive detail to the scene. The fact of capturing the boats, sands, sea, clouds, etc., to base of brush strokes a both matter-like and without drawing brings some movement to this landscape, which otherwise fall out a feeling of excessive stillness and lack of life. The light, very bright and clear, brings dynamism and freshness.
