The coffer chest is in the form of wooden box and with lid semi-circular, which is attached to the box with hinges on one side, and lock from the opposite. Features handles on the sides to attach better to the workpiece during its transport. The decorative elements that cover all the surroundings of the lock and sides, is made of wrought iron. Thus, it highlights the decoration around the lock, edges and handles of the casket, decoration based on fantastic beasts like dragons and ornamental motifs. Chest-of-character profane, incorporates some elements such as legs and finials. Used since ancient times, were made in all kinds of materials and techniques, the chests were important in the daily life of the people to contain and store objects or documents precious, like jewelry, perfumes, household items or relics.
