The stool ceremonial Makonde with incisions decorative. The people of Makonde, is located on both sides of the river Ruvuma, which forms the border between Tanzania and Mozambique. The important decisions of this town, are taken by a chief with the support of a council. The members of the clan gather only to celebrate the cult of the ancestors and to celebrate initiations. The Makonde believe in a world of ancestral spirits, and bad spirits that make their appearance during the ceremonies of the rites of initiation nearby, these rites are considered very important
