Figure of the village baoule, who reside in the Ivory Coast, these sculptures are highly appreciated by the lovers of african art. This harmonious figure was made to be inhabited by gods or spirits, which has to take care of as a real person. Presented standing, with the arms close to the body, the hands resting on his belly prominent. The bent legs are short in comparison to the body. As in the majority of sculptures africa, the head stands out on the rest of the body, with a thick neck and long, the head is disproportionate. Wears as accessories a necklace and a loincloth made in plant fiber. The hairstyle is very curious but at the same time very typical of these carvings, which consists of a crest central.
