Beautiful set of chalice and paten of solid silver, partially gilded, made in France in the year 1900. Both pieces are presented in a case , thanks to whose protection they have come down to us in an acceptable state of conservation. The chalice is of silver, and the paten silver plated metal and lead contrasts that attest to its origin, both in the cup as in the foot. The cup is beautifully crafted, showing a decoration simple and elegant, with floral motifs and Greek crosses.

The cup is gilded on the inside and the outside. The cup sits on a base that part of a stalk or stem of the chalice; this base is formed by a few leaves that are simple and stylized, they do a similar function to the calyx of a flower, supporting the cup as if the corolla is concerned. Under the cup appears the knot, with a floral decoration and symmetry and beautifully made. Under this knot of greater size there is a smaller one that is part of the wide base of the calyx; this knot side is decorated with leaves similar to those of the cup. Finally, the base lobed takes a beautiful vegetable decoration is engraved and embossed. The paten shows is smooth completely.

The cup shows several contrasts that speak to us of the origin and the quality of the silver with which they are made. The case is slightly deteriorated but has fulfilled effectively its function, since the chalice and paten have arrived to our days in magnificent state of conservation.
