The simplicity of this piece is due to its use: this wall clock was designed to mark the time in a pharmacy. This also indicates the durability of the watch. Of a round case, the dial is white, and it has two marks on it: “Union” within a diamond shape, and, below, “Duward”.

Union Relojera Suiza S. A. was an organization created by the French jeweler Alexander Grassy in 1923 to represent the main factories of swiss watchmaking. The idea was to bring to these swiss watchmakers of the services of representation, distribution and repair that lacked in Spain. Began importing, selling and repairing timers francs, but immediately it would create watches public institutions (Station of Atocha of Madrid, etc).

Duward is a company to watch in Spanish, founded in 1930, it enjoyed a great success during the post-war years, being highly valued for their quality and their creations of the 50's. It was purchased and, in the present, continues with his production, with headquarters in Barcelona.
