The watch comes perfectly acompañadocon a niche with a pedestal in wood. The watch is in perfect working order but has been standing a long time. Attached pendulum and key, original and has a perfect aesthetic.

The table clock was a so-called bracket, or "bracket", although this term is a little confusing, because this type of watches do not lie truly on the shelf, but probably were intended to be placed on a table, sideboard or fireplace, as it was in those years the site of the house where you used to concentrate the family and there were no other methods of distraction more than a good conversation. The bracket of the first years had the feature that was portable, that conditioned, to a large extent, its mechanism, and it would not be until 1800 when the escape palette was definitively replaced by the lever escapement in the watches of the bracket, which led to the development of clocks of a greater magnitude, since they were not moved to the assigned site, forming part of the decoration of the room. We can find clocks desktop of the most varied, in many occasions accompanied by beautiful chandeliers in the same style, combining functionality and aesthetics in equal parts.

Beautiful and decorative piece that joins the functionality of the watch with the beauty of the sculpture to stay in keeping with its empire style and magnificence.
