The stiletto is a type of dagger or knife with a blade very long and sharp of various designs, mainly used as piercing weapon. Its narrow section, terminated in a tip that is very sharp and rigid, and allows it to penetrate very deeply. Most stilettos are not appropriate for the court, even in those cases where they have a cutting edge. A typical probe design early had a metal handle made in a single piece of cast iron and the blade forged to hammer to adopt a triangular cross-section without sharp edges. Other possible examples are the sections round, square, and diamond-shaped.
