This gun has a single barrel and a trigger concealed. Of retrocarga, works with a system of percussion common to many weapons of the time.
For its size, it was one of the so called “gun pocket” that used to be hidden as a means of self-protection. It was usual that they would carry men hidden in their clothes or luggage or bags, but was also somewhat common to find them in bags female for that little size. In this case, was designed for the knights to be hidden in their vests.
In the NINETEENTH century it was very common that the same type of gun are made in different places, hence the difficulty of applying nomenclature of models on many occasions. The present case, as the written word on the cannon indicates, was executed in Malaga.
