"The "Barça Vintage"
The mechanics work smoothly, including carburetion and response, with very short gears up to the third, a 5-speed Ford MT-75 gearbox. It is evident that the engine has been well taken care of by a specialist and has not lost its power and distinctive sounds. The body part is made of fiberglass and is in generally good condition, except for a small dent on one of the bumpers, see photo. The underside shows a magnificent good condition. The interior is new, indicating a good finish with imitation leather material. In the case of the console and glove compartment, the detail of the accessories reflecting commemorative sheet metal and the shield of Futbol Club Barcelona is evident.
ASTER. Limited edition
Overall, it is in good condition. Some of the chrome is dull. User Manual is included.

There are no visible damages. The condition is operational and functional. Some of the chrome in sensitive areas like fenders and rear is dull without shine, and there are some visible marks of deterioration due to humidity. It retains the majority of original launch pieces, we would say that 98% withstands the test of time, and the rest with more or less wear due to little use, are replaced parts for its proper functioning. The individual system in the suspension, completely original with double trapeze with springs and adjustable shock absorbers and perfectly greased, works perfectly. In the details of its accessories is where you can truly see that the vast majority of them, such as turn signals and rear lights, trim, etc., maintain the originality of the model, within its exclusivity as a piece.
ASTER (Spain) (2000 - 2003)
The ASTER is a retro-looking Roadster equipped with Ford engines of 1.6 and 1.8 liters. It is built with a tubular chassis and a fiberglass body. The corporate name of ASTER was: Polígono Industrial Ventorro del Cano, C/ Torrelodones, 8, 28925 Madrid. Only a few units were manufactured.
A special series called "Barça Vintage"
In 2001, a car with the F.C. Barcelona brand, the "Barça Vintage," was presented at the facilities of the Barcelona football team. The presentation was conducted by the then club president Joan Gaspar and Timothy S. O' Neil on behalf of the manufacturer and distributor. That same year it was also presented at the Barcelona Motor Show.
The Barça Vintage was the first vehicle in the world to take on the brand of a football club, with the aim, according to the promoters of this initiative, of giving its owners a completely exclusive feel.
The price of this car was around 4,800,000 pesetas of the time (about 28,900 €), and it was intended to be marketed only in limited series (it was planned to produce 300 units) that would have a commemorative plaque on the dashboard.
The Barça Vintage was presented in two different versions, both with a "roadster" body. In the words of its manufacturer, the American Timothy S. O'Neil, the MK1 was the more bourgeois version, with wooden finishes and a displacement of 1,800 cc, while the MK2 was a more sporty version, with aluminum finishes, a leather steering wheel, and a smaller displacement engine.
The engines were of Ford origin. The 1.8-liter engine had four cylinders in line, 16 valves, and a power of 115 hp, and the 1.6-liter engine developed a power of 111 hp.
In both versions, the F.C. Barcelona logo appeared on the rims and wheels, as well as on the front, in the style of exclusive luxury cars. It was available in all classic colors except white, for fear of mentioning the rival team in the body (Real Madrid), although, curiously, the car was manufactured in Madrid.
We assume that the initiative did not have the expected success, and the Barça Vintage never actually came to be marketed as such. The Barça Vintage was actually an ASTER that was trying to be marketed as a white label."
