This spectacular and futuristic car is the Brand: Sbarro and the model: Challenge, is a concept car of which only produced 10 units for the whole World.

In 1985, Franco Sbarro presented to the Geneva motor show, the Sbarro Challenge with 2 seater unit 001 was mounted on glass rear side, rear wheel keeled and he rode a Mercedes engine V8 for the aero work we did have a CX of only 0,25 World record in its category.

In 1986 the Sbarro Challenge II with only 2 seats, not sat on glass rear side or a fairing on the rear wheels, its engine was a V8 Mercedes. This unit number 002 was presented at the Geneva motor show of 1986 with a CX aerodynamic 0.26.

In 1987 and always coinciding for the Car show in Geneva I that would be version III Challenge unit 003, this time manufactured with a distance of axles shorter because the base was a chassis and mechanics of the Porsche 911, this time the aerodynamic drag is increased to a CX of 0.28 and for the first time the squares became 2+2.

Sbarro (automobile)

 
The first model of Franco Sbarro was a replica of the Lola T70 , powered by a 5.4-liter Chevrolet V8 .Since then, the company has produced prototypes and replicas of a variety of models including the BMW 328 , Ford GT40 , Bugatti Royale , and Mercedes-Benz 540K.

Other important models such as the TIGER have included the central engine 6.3-liter Mercedes-Benz V8, the STAHS was manufactured as a 2 + 2 coupe or convertible, and the CHALLENGE in the form of a wedge was born in 1985. All of them have been production vehicles extremely limited.

Another series of cars from projects of the early eighties which may have been sold to the private customer casual are the Super Twelve and Super Eight. The Evoluzione was built without the restrictions of normal automobile production, as the rear exposes the entire rear suspension set-up, as well as the engine.
